"QOUTE OF THE DAY"

If you can’t be a good example, then you’ll just have to be a horrible warning.

* A Spiritual Awakening *

Something changed in me when I started knowing who "Gypsy" was. I began to come into my own. I began to feel things about myself I didn't know existed. Things like Confidence, I started to trust myself and to feel Self-Assurance. I never felt that as a little girl. Except maybe when I was winning champion trophy's at 5, 1st place track meets at 6, most conscientious at 7, and dance competitions at 8. I have always had the drive to be the best me but still had a deeper desire to feel happy about myself. It took a long time and I still nit pick (smile) but overall I'd like to believe my confidence is their waiting to be picked at like fresh apples waiting to be picked in Fall. I came across a list of a few things you can began to do to uplift your spirit. By all means research on your own as well.

1. Make a list of people in your life in whose company makes you feel more alive, happy, and optimistic. Make an effort to spend more time with them. Our spiritual selves resonate with others, and that connection is healing. (I like to be around thinkers who don't have ego's.. they are most sincere people I know. If someone is constantly making you feel angry, upset or sad then they should not be added to this list.)

2. Listen to Music that you find inspirational and uplifting.
(Boy, do I love Aretha Franklin & Al Green for this reason)

3. Admire a work of art or a picture that raises your spirits: a painting, sculpture, or work of architecture.

4. Reach out and try to resume connection with someone from whom you are estranged; practice forgiveness. (This is extremely healthy for you. Just make sure it's someone you really want to re-connect with)

5. Give some of your time and energy to help others. The possibilities are endless but do not include just writing a check to charity. (You have no idea how good you'll feel. I'm having a Sneaker Drive next month, try to be apart of that)

REMEMBER: SELF-LOVE IS REAL LOVE!

QOUTE OF THE DAY

In The case of Good Books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but how many can get through to you.

QOUTE OF THE DAY

And the day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
